FAA Practical Tests

Private Pilot Practical Test (ASEL)

Private Pilot Practical Test (ASEL)

FAA practical tests, including the Commercial Pilot Practical Test, Instrument Rating Practical Test, and Private Pilot Practical Test, are conducted in accordance with current Airman Certification Standards (ACS) and applicable federal regulations. All applicants must meet eligibility, aeronautical experience, and endorsement requirements prior to scheduling.

Private Pilot Practical Test (ASEL)

Evaluation of knowledge, risk management, and flight proficiency required for the initial private pilot certification, including the Private Pilot Practical Test, is in accordance with 14 CFR §61.109 and the Private Pilot ACS. Applicants must present all required endorsements, documentation, and aircraft records prior to the practical test, which is essential for progression to the Commercial Pilot Practical Test or obtaining an Instrument Rating Practical Test.

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in instrument procedures, risk management, and decision-making during both the oral and flight portions of the practical test, which is essential for those pursuing their Commercial Pilot Practical Test or Private Pilot Practical Test.
